Baked + Branded has multiple plugins to simplify your life, be sure to add & use them! Below are 2 plugins you’re most likely to use while implementing this quick-start guide.
- Add ALL included plugins: You can remove what you don’t use later.
- Query Loop Advanced Operators: You’ll want this plugin when working on your homepage in the next phase.
- Clear Content Button: This plugin will be critical as you add content in your new custom blocks.
3. Critical Brand Elements: logo, colors & fonts.
Quickly brand your new theme in 3 simple steps
- Swap to YOUR site logo: It’s time to make this theme your own!
- Add your brand’s colors: Change the colors, create your aesthetic.
- Pick your fonts: We recommend using the available system fonts.
4. Global Styles: Header, Footer & Sidebar
Spend a little time on each of these global elements to ensure your site’s aesthetic- and user experience- is top tier on all of your posts & pages.
