Your homepage is the front door to your website. Here’s how to set up a dynamic and engaging homepage using Creator Theme.
Step 1: Access the Home Page Template
- Go to Appearance > Editor > Templates.
- Select custom-landing.html or the default home.html template.
Step 2: Customize the Layout
- Hero Section: Start with a hero block, which could include a striking image, a headline, and a call-to-action button. This sets the tone for your site.
- Featured Content: Add blocks to highlight your most important content, such as recent posts, popular products, or key services.
- Use the “Grid: Feature + Posts” Pattern: Implement this pattern to feature a prominent post or product alongside a grid of other key content items.
- Testimonials or Social Proof: Insert a block to display testimonials, reviews, or logos of brands you’ve worked with to build trust with visitors.
Step 3: Add Additional Sections
- About Us: Include a brief section about your business or blog to introduce visitors to who you are.
- Newsletter Signup: Add a signup form to capture leads directly from your homepage.
Step 4: Style Your Homepage
- Ensure that colors, fonts, and spacing are consistent with your brand and the rest of your site. Use the Global Styles panel to maintain this consistency.
Step 5: Save and Preview
- Save your changes and preview your homepage to make sure it looks polished and functions well on all devices.
